Setting a Flight Date

Setting a Flight Date

To accept a mission, pilots must set a flight date. Raad's clients will use this date and time as a source of truth so ensure with certainty you are able to fly on this date.

To set a flight date and time, navigate to Mission Details and then the Overview tab. Pilots may select the aircraft from their fleets they'll be deploying, a flight date from the mini-calendar, and a flight time. Days highlighted in green are weather-optimized — scored on wind speed, cloud cover, and solar radiation based on forecast data for the site’s location.

Pick a date you’re confident you can fly. Missed dates without notice can affect your standing on the platform. Pilots who do not fly on their selected flight dates may be de-ranked and experience reduced access to future mission opportunities. If plans change after saving, use the chat to Summon Ops and let them know with at least 72 hours advanced notice

Pilots may need to make direct contact with an on-site representative regarding their flight date, time, and credentials (e.g. aviation certificate, insurance COI). Pilots who fail to contact on-site reps when required to do so will risk non-payment. Please check the Mission Notes for detail.
